Safari in Zimbabwe

In spite of the current political problems in Zimbabwe, the hunting areas remain, in the main, unaffected. Let us keep our fingers crossed that this remains so, for the sake of the country, its people and the wild life. Two of the main hunting areas are the Save Conservancy and the Zambezi Valley and I have access to both places for plains game, buffalo, lion, leopard and elephant.

The conservancy extends to over 1 million acres and the only people in the area are those associated with the hunting.  Other communal lands to the south east edge of the conservancy on the Mozambique border are also hunted, particularly for elephant. Leopards in the conservancy are abundant and big.

Buffalo

Camps and equipment are all of the best quality and the professional hunters have many years experience hunting in Zimbabwe.

A leopard hunt lasts 14 days and other plains game can be taken at the same time.

The price on a 1 x 1 hunting basis includes:

  • The services of a ph, hunting vehicle and crew,
  • 14 days hunting,
  • 15 nights full board,
  • Laundry service,
  • 2% government levy,
  • Dipping and packing of trophies,
  • Road transfer from and to Harare airport.

A sucessful hunt
